Our story
It started on a walk at Jim Gilliam Park.
DLD Cleaning 24/7, LLC was born from a simple but powerful moment in Los Angeles. While walking the track at Jim Gilliam Park, the founder was approached by young people asking for help finding work. The request stopped him in his tracks. He remembered his own first summer job as a kid in Mississippi — working in the cotton fields just to earn his own money and taste independence.
Touched and compelled, he prayed about it. The answer that came was clear: use the thorough cleaning skills his mother had taught him, start a cleaning business, and open doors for high school students, college students, and young adults who needed a real opportunity. That purpose still drives everything we do.
Today, DLD Cleaning 24/7, LLC is a full-service janitorial and facility maintenance company providing reliable, high-quality cleaning for commercial facilities, residential properties, and entertainment production environments — flexible, around-the-clock operations with trained teams capable of maintaining high-traffic, sensitive, and high-profile work environments while adhering to strict sanitation and safety standards.

More than cleaning
A mentoring platform.
From the beginning, DLD Cleaning 24/7 has been more than a cleaning company. We hire and train young people, give them responsibility, and use the work itself as a vehicle for growth, discipline, and professional development.
For a period we also worked extensively in the film industry, creating what the founder called “the side door” — placing serious young people on actual sets where they could work alongside producers, directors, and crews, build relationships, and launch careers. Many of them are still working in the industry today. We remain proud to have served as that launchpad.
Our standard

Our cleaning standard comes from the same roots. We were raised to clean thoroughly — top to bottom, one careful step at a time. We take the time to do the job right the first time so there is no need to return. That discipline is how we have stayed in business and earned long-term trust.
Today we hold a county contract with a sensitive special-needs housing facility for parents and their children, where careful screening and respect for the environment are essential. We still care for the Kinsey museum, and we offer discounted rates to seniors on fixed incomes — supporting older adults remains close to the founder’s heart. Our teams have cleaned offices, production sets, museums, senior residences, and commercial spaces throughout Los Angeles and beyond.
The company began informally in 2017 and became a formal LLC in 2021, marking the start of our professional, fully above-board operations.
